Extended Zoom Digital Cameras
Extended zooms are fixed-lens digital cameras with zoom ranges of 15x or longer, with some newer models reaching extraordinary lengths of 30x. These digital cameras are excellent for long-range photography and often have many advanced features that help users attain a more complete and satisfying shooting experience. All extended zoom models have built-in image stabilization, though a tripod is still a worthy investment. These digital cameras are also referred to as mini-dSLRs on account of their dSLR-like designs; the performance and image quality aren't quite on par, but extended zooms offer much greater out-of-box versatility.
